Vancouver’s 1st and 2nd Round Draft Picks last June played well at the recent World Juniors.

Minnesota sophomore Jordan Schroeder, playing in his third WJC, had three assists to surpass Jeremy Roenick as the all-time career points leader for Team USA at the WJC. Schroeder has 7 goals and 20 assists for 27 points, while Roenick was 13-12–25.

Schroeder – Vancouver’s 1st round pick – finished the series with 8 points in  7 games for the championship U.S.A. squad.

Rodin – the Canucks’ 2nd round pick – had 3 goals and  7 assists in 6 games.

Jordan Schroeder, whose 20 career World Junior Championship assists are already a U.S. record, moved into third on the all-time World Junior Championship career assists list, surpassing Eric Lindros’ 19.

Rod, didn’t the Canucks have a 2nd player on the Swedish team – Peter Andersson?
