WRT Lu and TO, the Leafs have $31 m committed in 2010/11 to 4 fwsds, 5 d-men and one goalie.If Berkie signs Lu for the much discussed $8 m, he would have about $10 million to sign 8 fwds and a d-man (assuming the cap drops to $48- $50 million). If Lu wants to play for a winner, Toronto won't be it. But if Lu wants to be closer to Florida, he'll get lots of press in TO but no cup.
