Gillis is pretty patient and I don't think he'll sign an unrestricted free agent just to make a move. But we do need someone who makes that great first pass. And in the "new" NHL ,D-men are very vulnerable to forecheckers blasting them into the end boards...so injuries to your D becomes a concern as well.
