1. Which Detroit post-season record does Dan Cleary hold – as of June 3, 2009?
2. Which two former – and one current – Red Wings have the most penalty minutes during the post-season?
3. Which two former Wings are tied with the most post-season game winners – 12?
4. One current and one former Wing have had the most power play goals during one post-season – 6. The current one is Johan Franzen. The former Red Wing had 6 power play goals in two post-seasons. Who is he?
1. Cleary is plus 17. He was plus 18 before game three, and Zetterberg, Kronwall and Larry Murphy are right behind him with plus 16. Larry Murphy can still win. It’s the only NHL record that you can win – by not losing – when you are retired.
2. Gordie Howe leads the select trio with 218 pims. Darren McCarty is 2nd with 213 and Bob Probert third with 210. Probert accomplished his record in only 63 games, whereas it took McCarty 167 to tally his. Howe played in only 154 post-season games because of the fewer playoff games back in the Original Six and Expansion days.
3. Steve Yzerman and Vyacheslav Kozlov. It took Stevie Y 196 games and Kozlov only 114.
4. Dino Ciccarelli.
