TRIVIA: PLAYOFF SAVE % AND GOALS AGAINST

Roberto Luongo has played in 14 post-season games and has a .946 save percentage and a 1.61 goals against average. 

Who holds the post-season record for save percentage, and who has the best career goals against average?

Which NHL goalies – playing in this post-season – are in the Top Ten in goals against and Top Ten in save percentage?

The post-season save percentage record is held by Olaf Kolzig – .9273. 

The best playoff goals against average is held by Patrick Lalime – 1.765.

Current goalies in the Top Ten career save percentages are: Jean-Sebastien Giguere who is riding the pine with the Ducks, followed by the Flames’ Miikka Kiprusoff, the Penguins’s Marc-Andre Fleury, Chicago’s Nikolai Khabibulin and New Jersey’s Martin Brodeur.

The top career GAA – of a goalie playing in this post-season – is held by Martin Brodeur – 1.956. Behind him are Giguere, Detroit’s Chris Osgood, San Jose’s Evgeni Nabokov, Kiprusoff, Fleury, Khabibulin, and Washington’s Jose Theodore.
