According to the Bangkok Post, Kazakhstan’s rout of Thailand was some sort of international record.

But, Thailand can take some consolation.

In 1924, Canada absolutely kicked two European teams.

Which countries were they?

Canada defeated Czechoslovakia 30-0 and Sweden by a 22-0 score.

Seventy years later, these teams are beating Canada at her own game.

At the past four Winter Olympics, Sweden has won twice (1994 and 2006) and the Czech Republic once (1998).

And Canada has only won once, in 2002, at the Salt Lake City Olympics.
