has, at various times, worked as a psychologist in a medical clinic, a reporter on a daily newspaper, written restaurant reviews for a monthly magazine, covered sports for a medium-market radio station, hosted a computer report on an FM radio station, and written a hockey column for a B.C. entertainment publication.

The Desert Dawg is presently working as a solo guitarist in both Mexico and southern California.

He played old-timers hockey for a number of seasons, but left as a result of all the friends he made with his assertive style of play.

It has been said that he cannot hold a job.

And, he loves to talk hockey.
